Can't figure out how to MIDI strum

Hey guys! Sorry for being dumb but I can't figure it out how to strum. I write down a chord, add a strum in between a MIDI to CV and a polyphonic Generator, and strum does nothing, doesn't change midi data in any way. What am I missing?

    Make sure all midi modules are before the midi to cv. Strum processes midi, not CV
