Launch / Stop clips via MIDI controller possible?
Hello - I've got a launchpad XL and would like to be able to assign a row of buttons to stop and start the corresponding clip in the launcher. However a tap in reality doesn't stop / start them, so is there a way for a MIDI controller to start them, or emulate the current physical action at all?

Are you midi mapping the LP X to the Clip?
dRambo doesn't automatically recognise midi controllers.
You have to assign them yourself.
Yes i was mapping it. However I think I’ve answered my own question but will leave it here if anyone needs to know:
In the clip launcher, in the settings there, change stop clip from swipe down to tap. Also change edit to double tap.
Good to know that you’ve figured it out.
Nice one.
This works for individual clips but is there a way to toggle the pattern buttons on the far left (01, 02 etc)?
You can midi map the "Pattern" row and you can midi map the arrows on the right hand side as well.
You have to be quite precise using the arrows and that's
best when it's set to change at Pattern rather than Bar.
Thanks, I know how to switch patterns, but how do you toggle a pattern off?
I don't think you can toggle a Pattern off and on except by Transport stop.
Thats what I thought. Thanks for confirming.
I just leave the first pattern blank as an ‘off’ pattern but it seems a bit odd this isn’t an option.
What are you trying to achieve by that "off pattern" @gregsmith?
It basically means I can switch to ‘all patterns off’ without having to stop the host transport. I’m hosting in loopy pro using midi learn in Drambo to map controls to widgets.
No problem.
I was going to suggest leaving a blank Pattern but I thought you would've done that anyway.
