While searching for information about the subject, I found this fun sentence on splice.com that I'd like to share:

Admittedly, this rhythm doesn’t sound too revolutionary.
You can use it to create an offset by a certain amount of steps, e.g. to shift the timeline between two CV/Gate sequencers.
Modulating the "Shift Steps" knob will certainly give you interesting rhythmic variations, especially if the modulator is not synchronized with the host bpm.
Yeah look forward to more possibilities with sequencer modules added as I don't like baking the timeline with midi events for rhythmic parts, keeping it live is preferable.
Not tried it yet but is it possible to record just knob automations in the timeline without recording the midi events? This would be great :)

Maybe. The only ways really to record knob automation are either to use the hack that @bcrichards showed, where you record into a buffer, or to record them as psteps. Either of those will work with MIDI CCs.

Its actually quite interesting how most of the traditional music is based on Euclidean Rhythms ;)

Yes also tried this ;) Not 100% sure what the Shift Time module does but it could allow for rotating the sequence.
Actually its the Bend Time Module which allows for rotating the sequence, @rs2000 what does the Shift Time Module do?

Yes you can record P-locks on any step regardless of whether there's a note there.

Bend time is more like a swing function. Shift would move the beat forward or backward and it would stay there.
