  • Couldn't figure out how to use it. Would it be possible for you to make a small tutorial, at lest to help making some initial sounds ,?

it should work out of the box, just press play

its an fx it doesn't make any sound by itself, that's what the instrument in the example is for ...

to save the fx - touch its header, presets , save

now you can use it with any other drambo sound source or AU

  • Good point !! I also downloaded this Fx, and aside of pressing play and listening to the prepacked sample, I couldn't figure how to use it live.....I guess you need to be a systems engineer to use it 🤣🤣

    hm, its pretty simple

every delay repeat gets frequency shifted by amount x

amount x is on the frequency shifter (the very last thing in the rack)

this can shift the signal up or down by amount x

if you wiggle it live you can kind of repeat the melody you have been playing in a different pitch (that is what Sala is doing here)

if it sounds like splintered glass its alright 😁

you can see its 2 racks

(2 big block of things )

swipe down on the first block to delete the instrument I added for example purposes

what remains is the fx block that u can use anywhere if u save it

you may want to look up how instrument/fx rack work in drambo by reading the manual

this idea was later reused by Brian Eno/Daniel Lanois to create the "shimmer effect" , (swapping the frequency shifter for a pitchshifter in the feedback loop of a delay) 😋
