the computer keyboard is a midi controller ;)
midi map
mute track 12345678910 to key 1234567890
pattern number 12345678910 to "shift + 1234567890"
play/stop - spacebar
now u can instantly jump between patterns and mute tracks
by pressing the numbers and pressing the numbers with shift
puh. midi controllers. who needs that. I have a computer keyboard with plenty of buttons. ;)
Have fun.

so now lets have some fun:
hold shift and just slide with your finger up and down the number keys
what happens:
plays step one from pattern 1
jumps to pattern 2 and plays step two
jumps to pattern 3 and plays a few steps of that
and so on ...
you create new unique patterns from your old patterns on the fly, hurrah
😁
Fun!
aren't you in the beta team too?
that is what I was endlessly on about "shift and key" ;)
I would post a template for everybody to use
but I use a German Keyboard
im not sure if my mappings will work with an US or some other keyboard layout because the keys have different names and letters ...
Lol yeah, but I wasn't thinking about it there on desktop and rarely use it on my m1. I don't have keyboard connected to my iPad so the use case wasn't one I had considered. But this will be handy esp with midi au recording.
