Thanks Intrepolicious. Let’s say I have 6 rows (patterns), how can I loop through row 2 and 3 for example? It seems I can only loop one row at a time — or everything.
Maybe it could be a toggle in the popup menu when you long-press the pattern number. That way you could have discontinuous selections of patterns without having to move them around. You would still move them around to alter the order played though.
One possible way would be long-press the loop icon on the right. There you'd be presented with all available looping options. One of these could be "add to loop …". Which you'd then select one by one.
Another way could be a long-press on the pattern on the left. Here you could set all kinds of looping behaviour for that specific pattern. Go to next, previous, etc.
Interesting. Yes, also while holding the loop button you might be able to select the scenes to include in the loop. A double-tap could reset scene looping to default behavior.
What you described in pattern-specific looping (go to next/previous) would be in line with follow actions, and these are planned.
what about this simple idea.. when loop icon is enabled, long press and hold it and then tap on scenes headers to add to loop selection.. tap to selected removes from selection… right loop icon after long press release woukd not chngw status - so keep looping selected scenes
you need combination of 2 buttons because just simple press and hold on left scene number rectangles triggers dragndrop operation .. so by holding right cycle button and then just short taps on left scene number rectangles helps avoid unintentional drag of scene

You create patterns within the clips on each scene.
Then you “loop through” your scenes.

Yes, that's it @c6y.
If that feature was ever added, how would you like to tell Drambo which scenes to play in a loop?
One way would be to use the select tool to add/remove scenes from the ‘loop’.
TThat's exactly what I thought! But I'm also interested in other ideas 😊

a simple loop bracket on the right or left where you could drag it up or down seems like an obvious solution to me
Is this the pattern-specific sequencing you mentioned in your plan?!
BTW, heya all! ;)

Yes that would be useful indeed. Just a simple long press to add/select and/or deselect scenes from a group.
Good idea @dendy!
How can I change my proposition image, I can’t edit posts on this forum?!
Edit: Ahh, I can see now, the feature lasts only 1h. 🫣
