Is it possible to draw in/automate MIDI pressure in Drambo?
Discussion title says it all really. The new Moog Mariana synth has a keyboard in its standalone version which allows you to vary the pressure by sliding vertically. The AUv3 plug-in doesn’t have the keyboard though and Drambo doesn’t have an MPE keyboard.
Is it possible to manually plot pressure changes in Drambo as it is in other DAWs? I can’t work out how to do it?

No. The only way to generate aftertouch messages is to generate CC messages that you convert into aftertouch messages using Streambyter or Mozaic before sending them to Mariana.
You could then automate a knob to change CC values.
Ah, okay, thanks for letting me know @rs2000, appreciate it. Cheers.
@Robin an alternative idea would be, since you’re using the Mariana AUV3 plugin inside Drambo, just use an MPE capable AUV3 keyboard/controller plugin as a MIDI processor (I use GeoShred Pro for this, but there’s others like:
Velocity Keyboard
or
KB-1
Or GeoShred Pro, (there’s also GeoShred Play, and GeoShred Control which is just the controlling portion of GeoShred - this might be a good option if you don’t plan on getting into GeoShred for the sound. (I highly recommend the full Pro version))
So then you could use MIDI Tape Recorder (another AUV3 app) to record your control performance, which should record all of your MPE data, after touch/pressure.
MIDI Tape Recorder (incidentally, this was created by one of the developers at MOOG)
Or, you could just do what I do, and commit these MPE performances to audio. Just record your performance with Drambo’s Flex sampler.
Or, use a 3rd party AUV3 audio recorder (I love using Loopy Pro) but just like everything else, there’s other options. 4Pockets has an audio recording app, and there’s others.
Just throwing some ideas out there as workarounds.
@Intrepolicious Thank you so much for such detailed suggestions, i really appreciate the time you’ve taken. Yes, i think one of these options is going to be the best solution. Cheers.
MPE is great, until you want to edit. Either I get it right after like 30 attempts (I’m not that great as a pianist), or I just give up and use plain old midi and modulation
