What kind of bug is this?

edited December 2023 in Drambo

It’s driving me nuts! When I tap repeatedly on C2 (or any other key) in this setup, then every other tap becomes monophonic in the dry Amp Env output. Why? Turning the x-fader to B, the wet delay + pan output, all taps are polyphonic (as they should be).

I noticed that perhaps it is a bug with Pan, since removing that and connecting X-fader B directly to Delay rack somehow fixed the dry A output; now all taps are polyphonic again also for the dry output, as they should be. But then I tried with Convolver instead of Pan and got the same problem.

Is anyone able to reproduce?

  • Can you post your project?

  • Here you go. I’m on App Store version btw, not beta.

  • Looks like the midi-input for the delay rack is routed from the chord module?

Maybe try using the tracks midi-input in the delay rack since the delay rack is not polyphonic as far as I know...

Ok thanks for posting @bleep, this is definitely a bug in X-Fader incorrectly handling polyphony.

    I've reported this already recently.

As a workaround, you could use a classic mixer and control its knobs with the Morph knob.

  • Thanks, good to hear it’s being taken care of!
