XY Pad improvements
- Add Z output for touch: Z=1 as long as the finger is held on the XY pad.
- Add a Bipolar switch so we can also have output ranging from 0..1 (which is more natural for modulations).
- Optionally add inputs so the XY pad can show the current positions of modulations, also for debugging it would be handy.

if we had something pressure sensitive I would think different about that
maybe z input with pen, but I don’t really want to use the pen ...
Z input sounds messy.
No, it's not about something pressure sensitive.
I'm talking about a Z *output* just like the X and Y outputs, that is Z=1 while you touch it with your finger and Z=0 if you don't.
You don't have to use it!!
If nothing is connected it still behaves exactly like it does now.
Let's take a performance-oriented audio or stutter effect that is only enabled while touching the XY pad.
Like in the KORG Electribes, the Kaoss Pad series or in Groove Rider.
You touch it, the effect is active and X and Y adjust two effect parameters.
You lift your finger and the effect is off.
That's it.

For me personally I‘d be more interested in some kind of locking position(switchable) so you can modulate it with your fingers, let go of it and it jumps back to its original position.
Good idea! Both would be great.
