I have a problem with audanika sending it’s melody note twice. Is there a way to filter duplicated notes?
Check to see if Audanika has two midi outs.
How are you getting midi from Audanika into dRambo
or are you playing Audanika live and then recording the audio?
It has three outputs:
Bass, chord, melody,
both chord and melody output the same note, so I want to filter them
Another solution would be to join bass and chord but AFAIK you can't do this in drambo.
I have had other instances where I want to filter duplicated midi notes, but I don't recall the specifics
It can be tricky to filter "duplicate" MIDI notes, since it's just a stream of note on and note off events.
Can't you just connect to the individual virtual MIDI ports offered by Audanika?
Are these notes on the same channel?
You could look and see if someone with streambyter / mozaic has written a script. Whatever the solution, the system would need to keep track of when each note last was sent and run a timer to remove additional notes in a certain time window. Its doable but not simple.
Same midi channel, different input
I think that’s exactly what i need. Of to buy mozaic!
