Is there a way to use aftertouch?
I don’t have anything that sends aftertouch at the moment so I can’t test it. Im thinking of getting something but I need to know if it can be used.

Yes,…it can be used.
There’s a modulator module called “Midi Key Pressure” which
can use both Channel Pressure and Polyphonic Aftertouch
which I should use more often as the LP X sends out both.
