To me it’s kinda like why are there so many Wavetables out there, when we only need a basic shape to magle, fold, etc. I downloaded a pack of “Serum wavetables” once, that had like a thousand of them before I realized this.
the wave fx in drambo on the simple shapes are genius.
if you download some wavetables somewhere they never do what you want or you can't find what you want. creating wavetables yourself is tedious and not in real time ...
