Lyric prompts / text pop ups.
Not specifically Drambo related, but looking for an app ( maybe ? ) that can provide text / lyrics on the screen and react to midi changes, be it from a footswitch or a pattern change / midi send from Drambo, for example.
Googling has led me down a path of way too complicated / paid for, musical script reading apps, or apps that will read spoken word from text.
Anyone have a sneaky way of achieving this ?

You could use an app like this one:
Which is named “Visual Synth” (not to be confused with “VS - Visual Synthesizer” by Imaginando)
So you’d create a “video” consisting of several different frames or stills of your desired text, and use MIDI to select the different frames as needed.
It really looks like we need a simple AUv3 with 128 text pages selectable via MIDI CC and program change messages, with selectable foreground and background colors and text auto-size so whatever text is entered will entirely fill the plugin window.
Thank you x 1,000,000 for thinking outside the box for me. Was up and running in five minutes, doing a screen recording of the lyrics, importing it into Visual Synth and adding midi cue points.
Sort of got halfway there with " Apple Notes ", which with a drag from the dock will stay on the screen while one weaves the magic in Drambo. Trying to work out how to get " Notes " to listen to midi commands was another story however, googling " notes, keyboard, commands, shortcuts, midi, control " led to all sorts of handy tips on how to control midi keyboards from an iPad and the suchlike.
... and the word I needed was " teleprompter " software / apps in abundance.
not what you asked for
but maybe enough to get away with?
Not what I thought I needed, lala, but the TEXT BOX is brilllaint for adding notes to projects at pertinant moments. Thanks.
