If the volume is APFS formatted (default since macOS 10.13) then it may work the same way, but I can't say for sure. Too sleepy right now to research it. 🥱
Does this mean, if I copy (I guess NOT duplicate) my samples folder in iCloud into my Drambo folder, then all Samples are automatically seen in Drambo, but only saved once on my device?
Not necessarily. iCloud and local storage are seen as different providers. It may be that the files end up being clones of one another and are only stored once physically. But I wouldn't bet on that.
The only way to know is to check overall file storage before and after importing a large file from iCloud into Drambo.

@number37 It is! 😊
@auxmux Under MacOS we usually don't run into the same dilemma since all apps have access to the same files.
Yup, it's working on MacOs as well. Will be using Drambo as a VST a lot in desktop as well.

Hum. Is there any suggested way of importing a samples folder into drambo?
Copy the Sample folders into the Drambo folder using Files.app?
For this to work 'Public filesystem' has to be enabled in the Drambo settings under Filesystem.
Once the files/folders are in the Drambo folder the Public filesystem can be disabled again.
