Add an "8 Steps per beat mode"
Drambo can't capture my "intentional hand played subtitles in note timing" at 16 beats per measure.
I can Double the "Beats in pattern" to 8, and treat that as one measure, But I can't double the BPM's to make that work.
I imagine since most of the functionality is already existing (except for higher BPM's)....
Perhaps just add a new "8 Steps per beat mode" ?
Even if an "8 Steps per beat mode" limited the max beats in a pattern to 32. It would still be good. :) The metronome would also need to be adjusted for an "8 Steps per beat mode".

You may add many triggers to a single step, using STEP components or when playing live (just disable quantization), play fast enough and you will find that 2 triggers landed in one step.
Of course I can add 8 steps/ beat mode, but I'm not sure what problems would it solve.
I had the quantization turned on. I now see I can record with high timing resolution.
Is there a metronome count-in feature for recording? I can't find it in the manual. A Count-in would help when recording to a long pattern.
