Retain connections with copy and paste
One of my biggest hang ups, especially for bigger racks, is that copying and pasting manually connected modules requires those connections to be made again. For instance:
If I want to make another layer with similar connections, I have to connect multiply to amp, filter cutoff to slider, and cv sequencer time to lfo. Same would go if I were using sections.
it breaks flow and hurts my wrists :) maybe a copy with connections/regular copy option. If connection cannot be made it remains blank as it does now.

@bcrichards & @giku I would suggest a "duplicate layer" function that copies the selected layer to the next free slot, including all outside connections. Tap on a layer number and there would be a new option "Duplicate layer". So you have all freedom:
Duplicate the layer to retain all connections including links to the outside,
Select a number of modules and copy/paste to only duplicate what was selected.
I’d like this to be able to work with sections as well though
