It would be awesome to be able to change scales on the fly! Maybe by midi learning when it gets here? p locks don’t work for me since Im never following a grid. I’m probably one of the very few who have no use for Drambo’s incredible sequencer features!

One way would be to use a cross fader to switch between the outputs from two CV Quantisers?
You can lock your scales to different scenes. Maybe that could be a solution?
Done this way, you can even gently morph from one scale to another 😋
@hypnopad without using the sequencer.

I’ll give that a try. Thanks.
This is actually what I’m doing now but was looking for an another option. This will get easier once we get midi learn for tracks. I’m doing it manually with my left hand while I play with my right.
Seems like the fastest way right now (one tap). Anyway, good luck!
@denx Thanks. I think you’re right.

That looks like the ticket! Transport not running- check. P locks on pads not tied to sequencer steps? - check. Everything else is a mystery- can you explain more? Are tracks and scenes the same thing? How do you assign p locks to scenes/ tracks? It looks like when you change scenes you are not changing tracks but just changing p locks. When I press on different track pads it takes me to a different track/ module.This is all over my head right now.
Hit [A] next to crossfader
tap and hold on the pad you want to create a preset on
while holding the pad, do all the tweaks you like
Let go, done setting the "preset" for this pad
Tap-hold a different pad and tweak the next "preset"
Hope my despcription is clear enough?
There's really not much to it.
Scenes are independent from tracks. Consider scenes A to P a collection of parameter changes (p-locks) that can affect any track, even the master track.
As long as one of the scene scene knobs next to the crossfader is active (important!), tapping pads will not change the track but change the "scene preset" instead.
I don’t understand. This is exactly what I showed you in my video, or am I mistaken?
No matter, happiness is what matters 😊
@denx Well, sometimes it just takes a few different attempts. No worries 😊
Sorry @denx I never saw a video. When you suggested scenes to me earlier in this thread it was before I knew the difference between scenes and tracks. I had been changing tracks with duplicate modules in them with the exception of changing the cv quantizer settings. I thought you were describing what I was already doing. Was I wrong! Anyway thanks guys!
Thanks for the info🙏🏻. It’s pure gold! It all makes more sense now. Pads can be tracks/scenes or keys!
No worries, it was my first attempt at this kind of video. You didn’t miss much. @rs2000 is a much better and knowledgable explainer than me!
Peace ✌️
@denx Thanks man 🤗
@denx 👍🏻
@denx Just looked back on this thread and somehow I totally missed your valuable post with the video link.That video would of made all the difference. Sorry. @rs2000 Thanks for the backup reinforcement!
