Midi sequencer - Random velocity with LFO?
One of my favorite things to do with my Octatrack is to randomize velocity of drums with an LFO. I tried the same thing with Drambo when sequencing my Nord Drum, but can’t figure it out. It’s probably really obvious, but I don’t get it 🥶. Does anyone here know how to do it?

Take a look at MIDI/CHANCE, HUMANIZER modules for random midi variations.
Or you can send V through SCALE while applying LFO on it.
Thanks, I’m aware of the humanized module, but an LFO has much more control. Will dig into V into scale, although I don’t understand how this will work since the midi output module has to be connected to the midi of the channel, right?
MIDI OUTPUT module will send midi directly to hw/virtual midi port.*
You can use the scaled V for internal control, or use MIDI/NOTE GENERATOR to convert it back to MIDI for you midi equipment.
*The upcoming update will have many improvements over midi interfacing. Current beta is release candidate, so it should be out soon! :)
Thanks for the info, I will wait patiently then :)
Thanks, this works perfectly for Drambo modules, but not for sequencing external gear or plugins.
Add a Midi Note Generator and Midi out module.
