Is it me, or is the maximum ENV attack too fast?
I added an ENV to a filter to control the attack of the sweep and I had to have it pumped all the way up. Am I using it right? Maybe not. But is anyone else thinking the attack of the envelope doesn't go slow enough?

Which ENV? Ad 1 has a maximum of 10 seconds.
Attack maximum is 10s. Its a mix of exponential/linear like curve. ( modelled after SH101 env circuit ) Its not that short, e.g. Moog subsequent has 10s max as well. I can make it longer..
The trade off though is between range and precision. For general purposes I think the 10s max is the right choice. No doubt influenced by the mighty synth builders that thought 10s was about right. For long evolving pads, no, but I’d say the standard envelopes aren’t the right tool for that job anyway.
So is there a way I can extend it using one of the modules? Something in the maths section perhaps?
String graphic envelopes together using maths and logic. I could upload one I’ve been experimenting with, there’s another post somewhere that explains the chain.
@giku You could maybe add a switch to change the time scale x10 say. Or a different ENV for slowly evolving envelopes. That would preserve the norm while allowing the slow capability.
Why not :)
Env AD and Amp env AD should be enough? We don't usually need ADSR with such a long times.
Longer attack options on Graphic Env & Env AD Mod/Amp Env AD Mod would be dope too :)
The Graphic env with x10 would be great.
Ha! Options galore!
Driving the graphic shaper with a slow LFO ramp gives some long envelope possibilities.

Run it through the Slew Limiter. That's what slewing does - it slows things down.
Slew down there :) but I think the max slew is 10 seconds. We want more!
I wouldn't mind longer attacks, but more importantly making it available for all envelope types.
