I’m trying to get the tripletted16ths but using all sort of scale modules don’t get me the right feel. I’ve been stabbing in the dark so wondering whether there actually is a way of doing this short of asking for 16T to be added to the quantiser itself

So this doesn’t feel right to you?
Also, for some groove variations something like this could work too...
note, midi quantize module is receiving main track time signal (automatically it would connect to scale time), this way in ‘normal’ timing mode quantize does nothing, in ‘triplet‘ mode quantize amount gives variations.
My first example is 8T, but you can change it to 16T by adjusting Scale Nom to 6 or Euclidean Steps to 8 or Euclidean Fill to 8.
Oh... I think I see what you mean by doesn’t feel right... it’s not the math but the nature of triplets which require stricter conditions in order to feel musical and it’s not always given when using Euclidean sequencing.
Yeah, Quantize module seems to be the simplest solution but it lacks 16T.
Thanks @rec
@giku any chance you could add 16T to the midi quantiser?
+1
Oh yes please, triplets and dotted meters.

🤩
This is off the top of my head, but what about 8T with tempo x2?
I’ve tried all sorts and it did not sound right.
Feel free to try though?
I might, I have been having lucid dreams about euclidian sequencer, nothing worth reporting yet… I’m cocooning
