The stand-alone version with Midi feedback mostly works, but using output set to Mode creates feedback-like audio here. Not quite sure why, the Slammer track was set to Rceives Always and Receives.
Hey @samu was just going to try your method, but i see mention of a new plugin that costs another £20 called Shaka do i need to purchase this to use this method or is slammer fine in its place?
Also super confused on how you got your setup. Got somewhere near and Drambo crashed;) I’m nobly noob noob so really have zero knowledge of how to achieve what for you and others are the most fundamental things.. might try a stab at bleeps above method see if i fair any better.
Skaka is a separate app (I don't have Slammer) but both apps (Slammer and Skaka) use same midi-note numbers that the sequencer project uses.
I think the easiest way to get the Klevgrand sequencer working is to load Drambo (Midi Effect) as an AUV3 inside Drambo load the Klevgrand sequencer project into the AUv3 instance of Drambo and after that add Slammer AUv3 to the same track as the Drambo AUv3 (So in practice the Drambo AUv3 with the Klevgrand project will feed Slammer AUv3 with the notes).
It takes time to master Drambo and the only way to do it is learning by doing.
Maybe there are some other users in other time-zones that can step in here, I need to get some sleep...
So I do a lot of waffling here but basically trying to find out why if I have Drambo resident kick drums and a single high hat programmed in sequencer why inception Drambo is playing this sequence triggered Tom sample from slammer and I can’t seem to change it to what I’d like on pad or on the (inception) internal Drambo sequencer or any other way?
i made this rack some time ago, sorry I didn’t catch this thread earlier to help you troubleshoot. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the rack though, when it works for you. When I have some spare time tonight I’ll take a look at changing the tom sound you mentioned. I believe you will just need to reassign the sample from within Slammer itself. I’ll watch the video later to better understand what you’re trying to accomplish though.
Hey @aleyas - first off hats off! On your creation. It’s obviously very powerful and extensive but it’s just in the hands of a complete noob!;)
basically I’m try to have a Drambo inception channel where slammer samples are effected by it..like high hats/rim shots etc and then I want another channel that just has a slammer in it..so a dry kit that is not going to send midi to Klevgrand to be altered.
and I thinks that’s what both @samu and @bleep have helped me get.
what I can’t do is seem to change the slammer sample on the drambo Klev/Slammer channel where midi is going from one to another. Thought changing the note parameter in Klev might do that, or by choosing a note (sample) on the pads and then holding/placing a step/steps in Drambo’s sequencer either in the inception Drambo sequencer or main one.
Hope that makes some sense and thanks for taking an internet!

Sorry, was honestly not intentional at all...
No worries!

… fixed by setting the 12 Klevgr tracks to Receive midi: Never.
👍️
@samu @bleep @gravitas
cheers guys! As you see I have something g working for now but will definitely look into the alternative methods suggested when I can.
thanks to all for being super helpful on this!

Sorry:) don’t get the setup here also.
please assume total and complete lack of knowledge of anything in Drambo and multiply by 1 thousand:))
apprecaite the efforts though!
cheers

I think I have it! Eureka 💡;))
thanks again @samu and @bleep
Learning by doing is the only way to really learn Drambo 😎
That is what we've all been doing since the initial release a few years ago...
...there's no 'one way to do things' that is both the beauty and the curse of modular playgrounds.
Glad you got it sorted out...
Cheers!
Thanks again!

Ahhh so go to slammer and select the sample slot and change the sample!?
