Thanks for the comments and views and enjoying my little explorations of Drambo.
tonight i had a little bit of a breakthrough...the embedded track really feels like the kind of music i always imagined myself playing on my OctaTrack, but never quite had the patience or knowledge to create. But tonight...tonight some weird portal opened up while using Drambo, and a past vision of that type of music manifested itself within Drambo.
Big thanks to @giku for giving me a tool to realize the music in my head and spirit perfectly.👊🏼™️
Had a longer session today in which I was able to use a handful of different techniques I've picked up from @bcrichards and daveypoo. Thanks to these fine gentleman, Drambo is becoming everything I imagined the OctaTrack could be for me.
Anyhoo...the video is around 14min in length since I'm showing what I'm doing during the discovery process of creating a track...I hope to do a shorter performance piece of the track since I like the flow of it.
Oh man...this Drambo thing just won't let go of me. In this piece, @reasOne and I were chatting about how low CPU Drambo is and how it would be cool to set up multiple instances of Drambo in AUM to really have total control over fx and routing. Well, I am happy to report that the idea bore fruit...and honestly, it feels like I have 5 OctaTracks at my disposal inside of AUM. Having an auv3 Sequencer in AUM just opens up so many possibilities.
That being said, with great power comes great responsibility, so I hope that this track helps to soothe the Monster in us all which Drambo will release.
Hey Echo!! been listening to your stuff on YT the past couple of days. really great stuff! reminds me of Sebastian Muellaert or Vril a bit. not the same, but it gives me the same feeling emotionally. Im curious if you have any tips on how you make your drums, do you use samples, or are you synthesizing them? absolutely love the lofi feel of them and how they just sort of shuffle around.
Thanks for the kind words and really glad you enjoy my tracks. For a majority of my drums I use PlayBeat from AudioModern fed into a lot of effects on my tracks. I'm just now getting comfortable with Drambo, so I plan on using the cool Digitakt Drum Project I found here to do a lot of my drumming:
Here's another little video using the some techniques outlined by @unicity on the AB board. Using a few notes and a lot of Cycle Conditions to allow those notes to unfold at different times and octaves in this relatively simple composition. Also added some drums and background fx via 2 additional instances of Drambo running in parallel with a slew of effects.
note: the synth I am playing is Continua from Audio Damage which is being sequenced by Drambo.
SWEEEEEEETNESSS!!!! Thank you sir! BTW, I've become a Drambo fanatic on all the boards I'm on. AudioBus, Elektronauts, Facebook, twitter, instagram...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!!! It's Glorious :P
@echoopera awesome info! thanks for the reply. Look forward to hearing more of your stuff! Loving this Drambo journey, its a wonderful thing to help distract in these challenging times.
Finally paired up the Microfreak with Drambo and so far they are well paired. Downloaded some new patches from Arturia’s for the mf and really love the new sounds.

@echoopera Saying nothing on Drambo, but your music is great! Its this kind of IDM I do love.
Many thanks sir. Your Drambo is fitting like a nice leather glove so far. 👊🏼™️

As always, thanks for watching :)
Just created a Playlist of some of my most recent work. There's a bit of Drambo in it as well :)
As always, thanks for listening:
Everyday Drambo gets better and better at seeping into my life.
I think i am becoming one with Drambo.
Am i finally a DramBot?
Well @echoopera, I'm not sure a Drambot would use Playbeat but even if it does, no worries as long as you have fun being one 😀
Your vid is not only enjoyable but it also shows morphing nicely.
@rs2000 hahahah. Very true. Maybe I’m a Dramborg at the moment. 🤪
glad you like it 🙏🏼💕
Another much too late night jam using Drambo for some ambient sonic texture with beat:

Saturday morning noodling before heading for a walk with the family:
Have a blessed weekend everyone 🙏🏼💕
@giku So i am really loving how CPU efficient Drambo is. Thanks for this 🙏🏼
Today i went for a super minimal setup of MidiMix+iPad+Drambo and well i just love it.
Doing this to hold me over until we get MidiLearn in Drambo.
Here’s how that relationship panned out between Drambo+AUM+MidiMix:

I love his work. So glad to see him adapting Drambo to his workflow. He does amazing work.
Had to watch it twice... first thought that beat stop at 2:56 was added in post, it wasn't... nice :)
